Quakes v Sporting Kansas City

Danny Hoesen’s early goals in the 6th and 12th minutes were the catalyst in the Quakes match against Sporting Kansas City.   Additional goals from Shea Salinas to open the second half, followed by a goal from Magnus Erikkson in the 61st minute was enough to win 4-1 over Sporting Kansas City. Felipe Gutiérrez scored a penalty kick in the 66th minute was the only blemish in the game.

The win was the second this season for San Jose and equals the number of home victories from last year.
