It looks like that the USL League Two Southwest Division will not play once again this year. The Beautiful Blog has more details. We won’t say anything else about the byline except just check it out.
The official statement from USL League Two.
The other news being announced especially for a “minor league” team in the Bay Area is the television deal for the Oakland Roots. We say “lower tier” or “lower flight” but in a sports market where the top tier gets play, except for the Quakes in some outlets (but that’s for another day) the Roots being on regular television is a major coup especially here. We’re looking forward to seeing the games on KOFY-TV.
And, we are also looking forward to the return of NISA to the Bay Area.

Also the college beat–moving this up.
