Quakes v Sporting Kansas City

In the last of a three game homestand the Quakes were hoping to salvage a win in this set and to extract some revenge from losing to Kansas City in last year’s playoff game.  Things looked good with an early strike from Chofis in the 5th minute but Kansas City got the better end with three unanswered goals, with the first from Jaylin Lindsey in the 15th minute. Alan Pulido and Daniel Salloi later added the insurance goals in the 60th and 75th minutes respectively as Sporting Kansas City ended up with 3-1 victory and continuing their dominance over the Quakes.

This was the last home until June 26 in which the Quakes will host the LA Galaxy at PayPal Park instead of Stanford.  This will mark the return of fans to full capacity since March 7, 2020.
