Last week were two announcements. One was the official announcement of the USL Women’s League.
Mike at Soccer Bay Area has more details.
Eight Northern California Teams Slated to Begin Play in USL Women’s League This Summer
It looks like Academica SC will move from the NPSL to USL League Two. While they lose the likes of the Stompers, El Farolito, and the Sacramento/Davis teams for rivalries they will end up playing Central Valley and Davis Legacy. In addition they will compete with the likes of SF City, the Glens, and the Roots reserve team in 510.

The Quakes have their 2023 preseason schedule set. They will open up on the road with a short drive to the Monterey Peninsula to play USL Championship side Monterey Bay Union before heading down to Southern California to play in the Coachella Valley Invitational. Tickets are already on sale for this tournament from February 9 to 18. As of this date the 2023 Quakes regular schedule has not been announced, though that slate will be on hiatus from mid-July to mid-August for the Leagues Cup against a yet to be determined Liga MX team.
