The US Open Cup kicks off Wednesday March 23 with two Bay Area matches first up El Farolito (NPSL) and International San Francisco kick off play at Boxer Stadium at 3pm, while Project 51O (USLL2) will host Crossfire Premier (NPSL) at Ohlone College in Fremont at 7pm. El Farolito and Crossfire Premier played in a league knockout match last year which resulted in the Washington state club defeating the San Francisco outfit on penalties. The Quakes, Roots, Sacramento, and Monterey will play into the later rounds this spring.
