Thanks to two goals early in the game the Quakes win over Salt Lake 2-1. Jeremy Ebobisse opened up the Quakes tally two minutes into the game with Rodrigues getting the second goal thirteen minutes later. Cristian Espinoza assisted on both goals to continue his stellar 2023 season. Chicho Arango put Real Salt Lake with his goal in the 44th minute but that was enough for the eighth home win of the year and continue the Quakes playoff drive.
The Quakes have another midweek game with a match at Portland on Wednesday September 20th at 7:30 before returning home to host Nashville next Saturday night. Real Salt Lake returns home to host a midweek game against Dallas 6:30 pm kick and another next Saturday against Vancouver.
