A short break before the start of the upcoming season. The Quakes finally begin their 2024 MLS season against Dallas on the road before their home opener against LA Galaxy on March 2 in the first Clasico to open that schedule.

Since there was no game coverage due to the inclement weather our story has to do with the Quakes with the unveiling of their new jersey which includes the classic NASL team crest and a block party in San Jose to kick off the season the party was a celebration of the team of what has been done in the past, where the team is present now, and hopefully a bright future. The older generation has seen the demise of the old NASL, the advent of the San Francisco Bay Blackhawks and the return of soccer with MLS with the team starting off as the Clash before reverting to the original name.
