Herstory was made with the inaugural game for Bay FC, who take on Angel City FC in Los Angeles.  The result was a 1-0 win in the first match in 14 years for a Bay Area women’s professional team.  Doug at Soccer Bay Area has the story on the match plus a preview on what to expect from the upcoming season.

History made but with the opposite result.  While this is the third year of the Earthquakes reserves in MLS Next Pro the team has been rebranded as The Town FC, who will play the majority of matches at St. Mary’s College in Moraga.  Once again Doug has the story on their 2-1 loss against another rebranded club, Ventura County FC–who inherits the mantle from Galaxy 2 aka Los Dos.

Some news from the Roots front, where they will all but likely play at the Coliseum for the 2025 season.  However, their stadium at the old Malibu Grand Prix lot is still on for the following year.  Once again Doug has the deets.
