Bay FC v Reign

The second time was the charm for Bay FC against Seattle as they reversed their 3-2 loss against Houston with a win over the Reign by the same score.

Kayla Sharples put the ball into her own net giving Seattle the lead in the 27th minute off a deflection from her teammate Alyssa Malonson trying to clear the ball from the goal.  However, Sharples factored into the scoring with her goal off a set play two minutes into the second half drawing the score even with a goal a piece.  It was Alex Loera who gave Bay FC the lead in the 58th minute with her outside strike into the net.

Bethany Balcer drew Seattle even with her goal in the 83rd minute, but it was substitute Joelle Anderson who provided the game winner and despite 12 minutes of added time Bay FC was able to hold on to victory and get the very first home win in team history.
