The Quakes take a 2-1 lead in the second half only to lose 4-2 to Cincinnati thanks to Yuya Kabo’s hat trick. After a scoreless first half, Pavel Bucha of Cincinnati opened up the scoring with his goal in the 53rd minute but it was Hernan Lopez four minutes later drew the game even for the Quakes. Cristian Espinoza gave the home team the lead in the 72nd minute, only to lead for a few minutes. Kubo scored the equalizer (78th minute), the go ahead goal (80th minute), and an insurance tally (87th minute) to give the team the win.

The teams have a quick turnaround as the Quakes will host another home game, this time against Portland on Wednesday June 19 at 7:30 pm while Cincinnati will host Philadelphia on the same day against Philadelphia on the same day at 4:45 pm.
