The Quakes continued their winning start by notching their second victory of the 2026 season, this time a 2-0 win over Atlanta United in only their second visit ever to San Jose and their first ever in 5 games dating back to 2017.
Preston Judd scored the first goal in the 24th minute off a Jamar Ricketts feed in the 24th minute with Ousseni Bouda getting the insurance goal in the 79th minute with Timo Werner and Jack Skahan providing the assists coming off the bench in the second half.
The match was the anticipated debut of Timo Werner, who was signed to a Designated Player contract earlier this year and recently arrived from Germany on Thursday night. His impact was immediately felt with his play off the bench entering the game for Judd, and providing a spark to the offense with Bouda getting the biggest result.
Next up for the Quakes is a road trip to Philadelphia to face the Union this Saturday March 7 at 4:30pm while Atlanta begin their home schedule hosting Real Salt Lake same day and time.
