SF City break a 2-2 deadlock with a winning goal from Takashi Sasaki in the second half of stoppage time to give the visitors a 3-2 victory. Sasaki also netted an earlier goal to give the team the early lead in the 40th minute.
Alexandre Bernier gave the home team a 1-1 draw with his 42th minute goal to go even at the half. The team traded leads with Sergio Laguna giving City another lead with his 57th minute strike and Cameron Cao of Almaden drawing the game even again with his 88th minute tally.
Next up for SF City is a return home to face Davis Legacy at Kezar Stadium on Sunday May 17 at 4pm, while Almaden will have a road match to Alameda to face Project 510 on Wednesday May 13 at 5pm before returning home to face Academica on Saturday May 16 at 6pm.
