Bay FC lose in heartbreaking fashion to Kansas City Current 2-1 on Friday night. Izzy Rodriguez’s Olimpico strike off the corner kick in the 11th minute game the visitors the lead but Karlie Lema’s equalizer in the first half of stoppage time drew the game even. Rocky Rodriguez came off the Current bench in the 66th minute and scored the game winner off a strike that sailed past Jordan Silkowitz late in the second half and securing the win.
Next up for Bay FC is a road trip to face Seattle on Saturday September 12 at 5pm, while Kansas City returns home to host Orlando on Friday September 11 5pm start.
