In a battle of teams vying for position early in the season, one team was seeking to gain an advantage in the standings. The match was fit to be tied as Bay FC drew even with Seattle 1-1.
Racheal Kundananji gave the home team the lead with her run in the 32nd minute beating Seattle goalkeeper Claudia Dickey with her roller into the net. The visitors in the second half equalized with a goal from Jordyn Huitema that stuck off a set play. There were barrage of shots on goal for the rest of the match from both sides but in the end both teams had to settle for the tie.
Next up for Bay FC is a road trip against the San Diego Wave on Sunday May 4 at 5pm, while Seattle returns home to face Kansas City on Friday May 2 at 7:30pm.
