SF City lose to Marin FC 2-1 in a midweek match at Kezar under the fog.
Malcolm Zalayet of Marin opened up the scoring with his strike in the box to begin the second half but was Alex Chow that drew the game even with his roller in the 71st minute to put City on the scoreboard. However, it was Trevor Islam’s tally for the visitors in the 85th minute that sealed the win for the San Rafael club.
Both teams will have another quick turnaround with their weekend matches at home–where Marin will host the Monterey Bay second team on Saturday June 28 at 5:30pm while City will hope for a turnaround against Academica SC on Sunday June 29 at 3:30pm.
