Only one match for the week and it was another Town FC meet at PayPal Park.
The Quakes lose at Austin 3-1 with Daniel Munie accounting for the team’s lone goal in the 53rd minute. Bruno Wilson added to the team’s misery by putting the ball into his own net in the 77th sealing the win for Austin. The two teams will meet on October 18 in which a possible spot in the postseason can be determined. As of post the Quakes are ninth in the Western Conference standings. The team is on the international break as they prepare for their match at Levi’s Stadium against LAFC on Saturday September 13 at 5:30pm.
