We have some hot stove news from the Quakes with prospect Cruz Medina heading to Chivas on loan and being assigned to their reserve unit CD Tapatio.
Also some major news with the second team with the club reverting back to their original moniker Earthquakes II, ending their two year arrangement with The Town FC. The Earthquakes had a two-year pilot commercial partnership with The Town Group, LLC, which included re-branding the team as The Town FC for the 2024 and 2025 seasons and with the arrangement ending the team’s original branding and operations will revert back.
For the first time since 2023 their matches will be played at PayPal Park. Stay tuned for their 2026 schedule, which was announced after the organization change. As for The Town FC, most likely they will field a completely new squad with the players and coaching staff returning to the Earthquakes organization.
