Not much to report, except one player transaction from Bay FC.
The Quakes kick off their season next week on February 21 against Sporting Kansas City. They beat Charlotte FC 1-0 last Saturday thanks to a first half goal from Beau LeRoux. The team will finish their remaining preseason slate this week with matches against Portland on Wednesday at 3pm and New York City FC Saturday at 1pm. Both matches will be on KTVU Plus, the Quakes YouTube Page, and sjearthquakes.com.
Another English player joins Bay FC
Last week we reported on the signing of Anouk Denton from West Ham. With the introduction of new head coach Emma Coates she adds another player from the WSL with the transfer of forward Keira Berry from Manchester United. She adds depth to the striker position and brings international experience to the club. The team is currently training in preparation for their third season beginning March 14 against Denver Summit.
We will have the USL schedules coming up soon. For the 2026 season all the League Two teams except Monterey Bay 2 will return to play. In the meantime stay tuned to 3pointsport.com for more news and photos from the Bay Area soccer scene.
