SF City v Marin FC

SF City v Marin FC

Marin FC come back to draw even with SF City 4-4 in a see-saw battle.

Ronan Rattigan in the 6th minute opened up the scoring with his strike into the net which gave the home team a 1-0 lead. Tristan Durflinger extended the gap with his goal in the 38th minute but Marin added their first goal with Sean Chamberlin cutting the deficit in the 45th minute only for City’s  Jameson Raby to get the goal back with a 3-1 lead heading into the half.

James Richmond with his tally in the 51st minute brought Marin to a 3-2 lead with Kai Oppenheim widening the gap 13 minutes later with his roller to get City to 4-2.  However, the lead was chipped away with Marin’s Malcolm Zalayet starting the comeback with his 84th minute goal and Devin Rosas late in the game with his 90th minute tally–stealing a win on the road and going back to San Rafael with a point in hand splitting with San Francisco.

SF City will take a week’s break before resuming play next Wednesday June 3 at home–this time at El Camino High School in South San Francisco near Colma against Almaden FC in a rematch kickoff 7pm.  Marin FC returns home to face Academica on Sunday May 31 at 3pm.
