The Quakes lose to Minnesota 5 to 1. Timo Werner gave the team the lead with his penalty kick goal in the 4th minute but the Loons took control of the match with Joaquin Pereyra equalizing 6 minutes later. Kelvin Yeboah added two more goals before the half to give his team a 3-1 lead. Marcus Caldeira and Mauricio González extended the lead with their goals in the 65th and 86th minutes respectively to extend the Quakes winless streak to six games with only a draw against LA Galaxy at home to show.
Next up for the Quakes is a road trip where they will play at Houston on Saturday August 29 at 5:30pm, while Minnesota returns home to host Orlando on the same day at the same time.
