This week 10-15-18

We were at the Quakes vs Cruz Azul friendly at Avaya, followed by the Stompers vs JASA match at Oakland.  Despite being at a home stadium that felt like it was in another city, dodging opposing fans and dealing with their taunts, and getting through exiting traffic at the last minute decided to gamble and add the Oakland match to the docket.  We were only able to cover the second half, but an interesting night of matches overall.

This is already old news but the breaking story from last week:

Steve Ralston will finish his interim coaching stint for the remaining two games before Matias Almeyda takes over for next season. (sfgate.com)
