The Quakes continued their run in the MLS is Back Tournament in Florida with a 5-2 win over Real Salt Lake in Orlando Monday night. Cristian Espinoza kicked off the scoring in the 21st minute only to be drawn even with a Douglas Martinez goal a minute later. Magnus Eriksson gave the Quakes the lead again with a penalty kick goal in the 49th minute with Vako scoring another 12 minutes later. Damil Kreilach allowed his Real Salt Lake club back into the game with a goal in the 75th minute but Wondo and Magnus gave the team insurance goals to secure the win–with the latter scoring again off the penalty spot in stoppage time. Daniel Vega commanded the nets with 3 saves.
The Quakes now takes on the winner of Columbus Crew/Minnesota United on Saturday August 1 at 5pm.

Also, from last week there are reports of MLS returning to league play with the first game to start on August 22 and running through November 10. MLS Cup will be contested on December 12.
