The Oakland Roots reserve unit announced their schedule a couple of weeks ago. After their NPSL campaign was cancelled in 2020 and the main club switched from NISA to the USL Championship the following year, the developmental team eventual made the move to USL League Two.
51O will open on the road with a trip on I-580 west to San Rafael to play fellow debutant Marin FC on May 8 before their official home debut at Merritt College against cross-bay rival SF City FC on May 15. The other cross-bay rival Glens will visit on Mary 29.
The SF return legs will be on June 16 and 18 when 51O will visit SF City on June 16 and the Glens at Skyline College on June 18.
