This Week 6-20-22

Our coverage were at four spots, first Wednesday at Oakland, Thursday in San Francisco for a new rivalry matchup, and Saturday for another to open the day before the nightcap in Redwood City.

The Roots had two games one at home against New Mexico and a road trip to San Antonio.

The bracket was announced and now the schedule has been confirmed.

Bay Cities will host the winner of the Pacific Bracket on Saturday July 23, where they will play either Modesto City, Battle Born (Reno, NV), or Wenatchee All-Stars FC (WA).

Modesto will open on the road at Wenatchee on July 2 at 6:30pm and will host Battle Born on July 16 at 4:30pm.

AFC South Bay in San Jose has been placed in the SoCal Bracket where they will play Soul2Sole FC on the road July 10 at 4pm and then return home to host Capo FC on July 16 at 5:30pm.  The winner of that group will play at Albion San Diego on July 23.

SF City Bs lose to the Glens

To close out, in what was an expected move San Francisco will host games for the 2026 World Cup.  Because of League Two coverage we declined the invite – however our friend of the site Doug was there with all the revelry so check him out.
