Both teams have a Friday turnaround with Whitecaps FC hosting Tacoma Defiance in another Whitecaps/Sounders rivalry tilt while Earthquakes II will move their home game from PayPal Park to Negoesco Stadium at the USF campus in San Francisco hosting Real Monarchs (Real Salt Lake reserves). Those matches are on Friday September 9.
