The 2023 US Open Cup started with qualifying with Inter San Francisco winning their match 5-0.

Also the SWPL has started play.

South San Francisco AC defeat Los Banos 4-2 in their home opener.

AFC South Bay in San Jose kick off their schedule October 1–so expect an unbalanced schedule among the teams. The schedule will play until December 18 and then break for the holidays–with play resuming after the new year.

The key teams to watch are the two JASA teams plus Juventus Silicon Valley in Redwood City, AFC South Bay in San Jose, and South San Francisco. Deportivo Cometa will play their matches at Half Moon Bay. There will be select coverage to November 6 and keep checking the website at for the photo albums and on instagram @3pointsport.
