In what was marked as the final home game for Shea Salinas, the original from the revived team scored a goal off a free kick in storybook fashion early in the second half. Benji Kikanović later scored an insurance goal to lift the Quakes to a 2-0 win over Minnesota.

The Quakes will conclude their 2022 season at Seattle on Sunday October 9 at 2pm with nothing at stake except bragging rights while Minnesota will host Vancouver at the same time with the winner heading into the postseason.
