An extra for this week–Manchester City on Sunday hosted a viewing party at Pier 70 for their match against Tottenham Hotspur. While the result was a hotly contested draw at 3-3 there were some activities for the kids and adults to partake in, including the FA Cup, Premier League and UEFA Champions League trophies, and the UEFA Super Cup–which pits the best from the Champions League and the Europa League for some hardware.
The tour is part of a three city exhibit with stops in San Francisco, New York, and Washington, DC. Manchester City fans can watch matches at Maggie’s on North Beach, along with Arsenal fans who share the bar with the team.
Our retrospective on Manchester City’s 2011 match against America is here.
