Farolito’s US Open Cup run ends with the Roots defeating them 2 to 1 in extra time. Next up for the Roots is a trip to San Jose against the Earthquakes on May 7, while Monterey Bay FC will travel to Sacramento on the same day with the winners meeting each other in the next round.
