Once again, the two teams in their respective divisions meet in major rivalry match, with the women playing for the first time since last year’s USL-W playoff where the Glens advanced over the Soul. The results were split where the Glens defeated Project 51O in a blowout 6-0. In the nightcap the East Bay team had a measure of revenge as the Soul held on to the lead to defeat the Glens women 3-2.

Next up for both 51O and the Soul are home matches against Academica SC of Turlock with the junior team playing at the Roots training facility in Alameda on Saturday June 8 at noon and the women playing at CSU East Bay in Hayward at 4pm as part of a doubleheader with the Roots hosting the Tampa Bay Rowdies afterwards at 7pm. The Glens will host Marin FC Legends on the same day at 1pm while the women will continue their homestand against the Academica SC women on Wednesday June 5 at 6pm and the Marin FC Siren on Sunday June 9 at 1pm.
