Bay FC defeat Northern Super League club Ottawa Rapid FC 1-0 in an international friendly and the first match against an opponent from Canada. Caroline Conti scored in the 59th minute off the penalty spot to account for the only scoring of the match and to give the home team a win.
Bay FC returns to league play to a trip to the New York area to face defending NWSL Champions Gotham FC on Saturday April 25 at 10am while Ottawa will open their league season on the road to play the Halifax Tides on the same day 9am start.
