With the upcoming summer slate of matches, I want to share some slates from us and our friends of the site @fieldofdaydreams on Instagram. This past February during Super Bowl week Jenny Taft of Fox Sports moderated a chat in San Francisco with US legends Tim Howard and Landon Donovan where they share stories about their World Cup experiences and what bodes for the team and the future of soccer in the United States and beyond. All the chatter was shared here and there over beers at St Joseph’s where the chat was held, and at Enterprise Brewing after and so forth. Enjoy!
If you are in San Francisco, Carnaval will dole out a soccer theme this weekend. There will be soccer in the park both Saturday and Sunday, with the parade being the showcase of the event.
