SF City defeats Project 51O by a score of 1-0 in a Saturday matinee at Kezar Stadium. Dane Pendelton accounted for the only goal of the game with his 23rd minute strike. City needed a win or a draw to take the Norcal Division title while the Roots reserve team had to win outright for the trophy and it was San Francisco that will finish first and Oakland in second. The title was the first for City in the USL League Two/PDL era dating back to 2016.
Project 510 will play top seed Ventura County Fusion at Kezar at 4:30 pm on Friday July 17, with SF City hosting FC Tuscon following the first match at 7:30 pm. The winners of each match will advance to play on Sunday July 19 with the time to be announced.
