SF City v Academy of Art

After a 9 month hiatus SF City finally made their 2019 debut with a friendly against the Academy of Art at the Beach Chalet fields.  The result did not go their way as the college scored 3 unanswered goals to give them a 3-1 win.  The match was merely to try out some players who could make the roster at the start of their USL League 2 (formerly PDL) campaign beginning May 3.

This week 4-16-18

Another preseason friendly between SF City FC and the Academy of Art.  The venue was moved from City College to Paul Goode Park at the Presidio.

In a very chippy game City came from a goal deficit from Bryce Kaminski, with an assist from Aaron Lombardi to draw the Urban Knights even at one goal at the 53rd minute.  Jeremy Romero nailed the winner at the 70th minute to defeat the Urban Knights in their third of five friendlies between college teams.  Next up for City is a road game at Stanford at Cagan Stadium Friday April 20 at 7pm.
