The Quakes reserves defeat the Seattle Sounders reserves on penalty kicks (6-5) after drawing 1-1 in regulation. Quakes prospect Will Richmond gave the home team the lead in the 29th minute while Reed Baker-Whiting’s goal in the 56th minute gave the visitors a draw leading to the end of the game. Aaron Edwards made the winning kick to give the Quakes Bs the extra point in the match while Emi Ochoa’s two saves in the shootout made the difference in securing the “win”.
