In a match dominated by very chippy play between the current top two teams in the West, it was the MLS Cup finalists that ended up getting 3 points on the road with the Sounders winning 1-0 over the Quakes.
The only goal of the match came off Cristan Roldan in the 18th minute off a botched defensive clearance.
The notebook was from the stands. Our only match has been the home opener so awaiting word on a return so for now–back to being fans/supporters in the stands.
Both teams have a short turnaround with the Quakes hosting Portland this Saturday May 15 7pm start, while the Sounders return home to host LAFC on Sunday May 16 at 6:30pm.
